All meals were purchased anonymously at standard menu prices. No 'secret shopper' notifications. Each location visit documented: order-to-delivery time, order accuracy, food temperature, fry crispiness, burger assembly quality, dining room cleanliness, and staff interaction. We conducted standardized comparisons: Big Mac weight and assembly across locations, fry salt level consistency, and shake thickness. But the value proposition has fundamentally changed. When a Big Mac Meal approaches $12-13, customers reasonably ask: 'Is this worth it?' The answer increasingly depends on whether you're using the app. App-deal customers can still get reasonable value; menu-price customers are overpaying. We recommend McDonald's for convenience, consistency, and drive-thru speed. To get acceptable value, always use the mobile app for deals.
